The Credit Grantors Association of Vancouver
is comprised of members from companies of
all shapes and sizes and from all walks of
the Credit industry in the Greater Vancouver
region. The commitment of the association
is to encourage the understanding of credit
granting and to provide information to its
members and the general public about the
wise and responsible use of credit.
The association has an elected board of
directors who are assigned responsibilities
such as monitoring legislative changes that
impact the credit industry and the consumer,
liaison with the credit bureaus regarding
any issues or concerns in the industry and
arranging speakers of interest for the association
members dinner meetings held throughout
the year.
The association schedules ongoing seminars/workshops
for its members to convey credit related
information. It also provides a service
to Senior Secondary School students around
the province through our volunteer speakers
going into the schools and giving presentations
on the "wise & responsible use of credit".
Our mandate is to provide pertinent credit
related information to the public, through
the associations' members. |
